About

Tobi-Keith Productions was founded in 2012 by two aspiring film creators from New Jersey. They are in no affiliation with country singer Toby Keith.

I promise not to bore you with that story about how I was a shy kid who had absolutely no stage fright when it came to performing on the stage. I swear I won't tell you about how I graduated from Rutgers and went on to have two of my plays produced off-off broadway. And I certainly won't bother you with how excited I am to be collaborating with my best friend, funny man himself Keith St. Lawrence on something they are equally as passionate about. No, I will not bug you with the latter.

Instead, I have decided to tell you all the truth. My name is Tobi Lee Sigona, and I am the creator of Disney World. I know. Without my imagination, creative ambition, childlike love for adventure, Walt never would have thought of the idea and Disney would be non-functioning to this very day. I also, with my very own soft-tip pen, wrote the epic fantasy series that is Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling, you see, is my alias. I pay her, with my Disney World earnings, to pretend to be an older, more sophisticated, British version of myself. Brilliant.

If you want something bad enough, if you hold that passion for something, you have to do whatever it takes to challenge yourself to be the best you can be.

Keith St. Lawrence just wants to tell good stories, and with the wonderfully talented Tobi Lee Sigona, that is a definite possibility.  He is a Journalism/Media Studies and English major from Rutgers University.

It was during one of his various theater productions, that he met Ms. Sigona and found that she was equally as passionate about storytelling as he was.  From there, the two were able to make some Youtube shorts, like Half-Assed Reenactments and Tobi+Keith, and their first short film, The Wanted Ad, which premiered at the New Jersey International Film Festival. There are other projects in the mix as well, but he doesn’t want to spoil anything.

He’s not good at writing bios, so he’ll end with this, “It’s good to work on something you’re passionate about, but it’s even better to work on it with people who are just as passionate about it as you are. That’s where the fun truly lies.” – Keith St. Lawrence, and yes, he did just quote himself.
